Once again we are we are trying to find the perfect solution to fighting the battle of spam. We had been using a "milter" (details in our news achieves), which was very effective. However that solution was server wide and there was no ability to switch it on or off for any individual account. Most clients absolutely loved it and were thrilled at the huge reduction in spam. However there were a few other clients who were adamantly opposed to it and felt it caused them to loose legitimate mail.
Mean while the SpamAssassin software has continued to get better and better at doing it's job and we are now back to using it. Not only does it do a very decent job, but it also offers users many options and levels of filtering.
Due to user preference settings, SpamAssassin is not on by defaults. Please contact us it you would like it activated for your mail account.
